Antique English Tavern Wall Clock

Antique English Tavern Wall Clock.

The clock has the old/original finish.

The clock has reeded quarter columns with brass caps and plinths in the mid-section.

The contoured base has blemishes , etc All seem stable. Normal wear and tear for age.

The dial glass is old not sure if original.

The bezel holding it in place is a replacement.

The dial is a painted replacement on Masonite.

The hands are elaborate with a second hand.

The 8-day, time-only movement is driven by a

10-Ib cast iron weight, with a steel rod pendulum.

Movement is clean and mounted on a new seat board.

The minute, hour , second hand seems to need a washer or spacer to secure it more firmly. As they all stack up on one shaft. I had no issue running it during my test but did notice it.

The clock is running. Tested 24 hours with no issues. Not tested long term.
