SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

Each timepiece in our collection is a fragile work of history. We handle every shipment with the same reverence we extend to the clocks themselves — packed with care and sent with confidence.
SHIPPING POLICY
We currently ship within the contiguous United States. Due to the delicate and irreplaceable nature of antique clocks, we are unable to ship internationally at this time. If you are located outside the US, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.
PROCESSING TIME
3–5 business days after payment is confirmed
ESTIMATED TRANSIT
5–10 business days depending on destination
SHIPPING CARRIERS
FedEx, UPS, or USPS — selected based on item size & weight
All orders are assigned a tracking number and you will receive an email notification with tracking details once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active in the carrier's system.
Antique Clock Shipping Note: Because antique clocks are fragile, irreplaceable items, we invest significant care and time in professional-grade packing. This sometimes extends our processing window. We appreciate your patience — it is always in service of getting your timepiece to you safely.

PACKAGING & HANDLING
Antique clocks require meticulous preparation before shipping. Our packing process includes:

Removal of pendulums, weights, and loose mechanical components, which are wrapped and boxed separately

Movement secured with padding to prevent vibration damage during transit

Clock case wrapped in archival-safe materials before placement in reinforced double-wall corrugated boxes

Full insurance coverage if requested on every shipment for the declared purchase value
In the rare event that your order arrives with visible damage to the packaging, please photograph the box before opening and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. This documentation is required to file a carrier insurance claim on your behalf.

SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs (please contact us) are to calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Because many of our clocks are large and require specialized packaging materials, shipping fees reflect the true cost of safe delivery rather than a flat rate when order is placed.
If you have questions about the shipping cost for a specific item before purchasing, please don't hesitate to reach out — we are happy to provide an estimate.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we accept returns under the following conditions:

Return requests must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date

Items must be returned in the same condition as received — unaltered, with all original components present

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/misdescribed item

Returns must be shipped using the same carrier-grade packing materials in which the clock was received, or equivalent protection

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item
Important: Due to their one-of-a-kind nature, all sales of as-is or heavily discounted items are considered final and are not eligible for return unless the item was significantly misdescribed in our listing.

DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
Every shipment is fully insured. If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please follow these steps:

Contact us at slcantiqueclocks@gmail.com within 48 hours of the delivery date (or expected delivery date)

Provide your order number and photographs of the item, packaging, and any visible damage

We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf and keep you informed throughout the process

Once the claim is resolved, we will issue a full refund or offer a comparable replacement, at your preference
We understand how distressing it is to receive a damaged antique. Please know that we will advocate on your behalf and work to make things right as swiftly as possible.
